I am not very good at keeping this updated but I guess it's because my life is pretty boring day to day. December was probably the most busiest month we have!

Saturday December 6th, 2008 - PMI Christmas Party
Every year my company gets together and we have a Christmas party at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. We get to watch a presentation about our goals for the new year, we fly in clients that have been successful with our help, we have a new annual tradition called PMI Idol like American Idol we get to hear people sing and we get to pick our top 3 favorite (last year was funny and this year was more serious). They also give away prizes by drawing names (I didn't get anything this year) and they have a balloon drop (people get all crazy with this) Bryan got a balloon with $5 and I got a balloon and it was empty. That is all right because it paid for the valet parking we did (I have never done it before but it was great, we got out so fast)

Tuesday December 9th, 2008
I ended up leaving work early and going to the ER because of stomach pain that I have been having since Friday the 5th on and off. I told them that I was scheduled to go to Texas the next day to visit family so they ran tests to find out exactly what was going on. Well come to find out I have a ovarian cyst that is on my right side that is 4 cm in size. They gave me some percocet and a prescription for it as well and told me to go back to the doctor if I have pain after 2 days.

Wednesday December 10th - 17th, 2008
Well this was the time I had scheduled off to go visit Bryan's Sister Erin and her husband Jason. Oh I can't forget about their dog Raja. Unfortunately due to the situation we ended up staying home (luckily we are able to use the tickets for another time) while being home that we I go sick with a cold as well. So I wouldn't have been much fun to hang out with. Ask Bryan he will tell you that I ordered him around that whole week! But a BIG thanks to him for the help he has given to me.

Friday December 12th, 2008
Bryan talked me into going to the animal shelter with him to "look" at the dogs. He said that Roxy needs someone to play with and she is lonely because we both work full time jobs. When we got to the shelter they let us look at a few dogs. There were some that would not shut up, they just kept barking and barking. They had a cute rottweiler dog that was still young but not small. They also had a cute golden retriever that was male full grown about 2 yrs old that was wondering around up front. So cute but very hairy! They also had a Black Lab that was about 1 1/2 years old but then another family came in and was looking at her. We saw the cutest little puppy just sitting there with her tail wagging and very quiet :) So we decided to look at her. The minute we let her out of the cage she jumped on Bryan and then me. She has such sharp claws that she cut Bryan's arm about 2-3 inches (he was bleeding). Bryan then said that she left a mark on him and now we have to get her. So we did :)

Wednesday & Thursday December 24th & 25th, 2008
So Bryan and I had a lot of fun! Wednesday night we went to Julie's house (Bryan's Mother) for the traditional Hamburgers, Fries and Oreo Shakes that they have. That was great! After dinner got better. We brought our 2 dogs Roxy (Black German Shepherd) and Dakota (Yellow Lab) and we took his two little brothers to go sledding at the school near by. We decided to bring both of the dogs. Roxy really loves chasing after the sleds! She ran so fast that she would run into the boys. So we decided to hold onto them until the boys got down the hill further but Roxy was still able to catch up. Dakota was just having fun with the new sites, smells, people and following Roxy like she always does.

Wednesday December 31th, 2008
I had to go to work until 4pm. I was having pain because of my cyst so when I got home I took a percocet. I was hosting a party at my house with family. Bryan had to leave to go help Shaun to help Grandma Hinckley move to Orem. He was gone until about 9pm. My family showed up at 6pm and we made dinner and started playing Rock Band! We had so much fun and all the kids got together and had fun too! I am going to name everyone that was there for those who have seen my house know that it's not small but not the biggest either. First to start...

Monday January 5th, 2009
I can't believe we are in 2009 already. I was shocked when we hit 2000 and it seemed like even 2003 was far away and now we have been through 8 years. So I was in a lot of pain all weekend long while we had Junior, Ken and Lorinda in town and I felt so bad. Oh and not to mention that Tasha, Landon and Marcus came to visit us too! I guess I can't leave out Katie or Lucky either!
I had a doctors appointment scheduled because it has been 1 full month and I was still in pain and they said it should go away. When the doctor did an ultra sound he said that the right hand side cyst went down to 1cm instead of 4cm. He checked on the left side and found a cyst that was almost 4cm and said this is why I am still in pain. He gave me some options. He said we can do surgery to remove the cysts but it is invasive and cost a lot more money or we could try getting on birth control for a month and it should help it to go away. (Now when I was going in there I was set on having surgery because I have been missing work because of this and I wasn't going to let him convince me otherwise) but when I got in he said that because you have been trying to get pregnant for over an year and not getting pregnant that if you get on birth control it won't be a big deal. Well when he was done talking I had the feeling that I should take the birth control for the month that he suggested. If they don't go away in a month when I go back then we will consider the surgery option.
I have been feeling pretty good this week and not having pain in my stomach but now I have a nasty cough and my voice is gone lol. I have been on birth control for almost 2 weeks now and after I get off of it if the cysts go away then we will start finding out why I am not getting pregnant.

TWILIGHT MOVIE

So I got tickets to the Midnight showing of the best movie ever Twilight. It was Thursday November 20th and the movie was great. The movie followed the book for the most part. They even had some parts that you could laugh at. The movie was great but the crowd of girls was awful. When the movie started they screemed at the top of their lungs and it was so freaking annoying!
After the movie my sister dropped me off at my house and Bryan and I got in the car and decided to go to Betos to get some food (it was 2:30am) by the time we were done eating we went to bed at 4am. The worst part was waking up 3 hours later at 7am to get ready to go to work. (lets just say I wasn't very productive at work that day! LOL)

Bryan and I went to the mega plex theather in Sandy, Utah. This was the first time that I have ever been here. It was so much fun! We got food at the Mayan stand and eat dinner while we watched the movie. Afterward we went to Maggie Moo's in America Fork (btw, I think that Maggie Moo's is much better than Cold Stone) and we had a treat and went home. It was a great weekend!

Disney on Ice

That is right Disney on Ice! Bryan and I got tickets to go to Disney on Ice with my sister Misty and her daughter (my niece) Chalise. I got off work at 5pm (because of training) and went home to get ready. Bryan had to go into work for a meeting that no one ended up showing up to so he came home. Misty came over to my house and we all got in the car and headed to Disney on Ice starts at 7pm all the way in Salt Lake City. We already paid for parking and saved a whole dollar.
The show started and we got a total of 200 or more pictures from it. Not all of them are good because they are ice skating and moving a lot of the time.
The show was a BLAST! I will add images to this when I can!

Family Dinners

Friday November 7th, 2008

Right after the reception for David and Erin Hinckley's wedding we went out to dinner. Shaun, Kristi, Alyson, Garrett, Ken, Lorinda, Jr., Bryan and myself. We went to the Provo Town mall and had Red Robin. It was delicious. I was very quiet because I had just gotten sick and it was the worst part of the cold (of course). I was so upset to be sick when family was in town and when it was a weekend, but I still had fun with all the family.

Saturday November 8th, 2008

We went to Los Hermanos with the family. There was Aunt Becky and her mother, Uncle Gerald, Missy, Peter, Dallon, Claire, Spencer, Scott and Sarah, Grandma, Ken, Lorinda, Jr., Bryan and myself. Dallon was creating a cute story by going around the table asking for nouns and verbs etc... Jr. got a huge appetizer (Nachos) that he could barely eat. LOL. I learned a little bit more about what Sarah does in her job and it is interesting and great. (Not something that I could do)
After dinner Jr., Ken and Lorinda came back to our house and we showed them the game Rock Band and I decided to go to bed early (I know I am such a loser! but I was sick) Well what ended up happening is Jr. went outside in the back yard without my dog (Roxy) knowing. When she went outside through her doggy door, Jr. scared her and she bit Jr.'s face (not hard at all) and ran back inside (now here is where it gets either sad or funny depending on who you are) Roxy got so scared that she squirted all over the floor and was whining like she was hurt it was very loud and very disturbing to me, but lucky for Jr. he got to clean up her mess for scaring her. :)

That was my lovely weekend!

David & Erin Hinckley's Wedding

David Hinckley and Erin Taylor got married November 7th, 2008 at the Manti Temple. I heard it was a beautiful ceremony.
They later had a lunch in that Bryan and I attended around 2:30pm. It was catered by David's best friend. We all went around introducing ourselves to everyone else.
Later that evening was their reception at the Springville Art Center. It was beautiful. The caterers were there again. Bryan and I walked through the line greeting everyone. Erin looked gourgous and David looked very handsome.
It looked like everyone was having fun and I know that Bryan and I had a lot of fun seeing everyone in the family again!

Okay so I know it's been a long time since I got on and said what is going on with our lives. Really you haven't missed that much.

July 10th Bryan had a meeting at work bright and early in the morning at 6am. Junior had to leave and go back home but we enjoyed the time we had with him while he was here.

Friday July 18th I took the day off so that Bryan and I could have some time to hang out. We went to a motorcycle shop to see if they had a jacket for Bryan and found nothing. We went to Kohl's to find me a new pair of jeans and found nothing. We did go see the new batman movie "The Dark Knight" It was Great! Afterwards we orders Chili's to go and watch another movie from the redbox.

Saturday July 19th Bryan and I had my dad come over and show us what we need to do to get our patio prepared so we can pour concrete. FINALLY!

Sunday July 20th Bryan got stung by a bee on his eye brow when we went for a Sunday drive on his motorcycle. But he is okay now that we got some medicine for the swelling to go down. It was actually funny because it looked like someone punched his eye. Maybe it was poor little me? Ha Ha Ha I couldn't do any damage.

Monday July 21st went to work again same old boring routine.

Tuesday July 22nd went to work again same old boring routine afterward I had my visiting teachers come over and they gave a really good lesson as usual.

Wednesday July 23rd went to work again and tonight we are going to go with Julie and the boys up to see grandma Madsen for a family party for the 24th of July. We are going to have dinner and watch fireworks!

My sister in law has a blog that she writes on to keep us updated since she moved to Texas awhile back so I decided that I wanted to copy her (Sorry Erin) and keep a blog as well.

First of all my life is not near as interesting as hers but I thought it would be fun to have.

Bryan and I recently got back from our vacation to Panaca, NV to visit his dads side of the family and brought a little homeless boy and dog back with us. Bryan's little brother Jr. and his dog Katy which we have enjoyed for the most part. LOL.

We went to the Stadium of Fire on the 4th of July and saw Blue Man Group and Miley Cyrus (which I know the boys LOVED deep down inside lol) and watched the fireworks. Traffic on the way home was awful. It took us almost 2 hours to get from Provo to Lehi. Afterwards we went to Ihop for a dinner/breakfast meal and had lots of fun!

After Ihop we stayed up a couple hours later and had some fun playing Halo3 (Acutally I went to bed because I had a hair appointment the next morning).
